Late independent help for Reichert

With ballots sitting on kitchen counters around the state, Republican Dave Reichert’s underfunded push for governor is getting some late six-figure help.
A new spot from Washington 24, a PAC supporting Reichert and opposing Democratic Attorney General Bob Ferguson, rolled out over the weekend.
The spot focuses on the Democrats’ 40-year tenancy in the governor’s mansion and makes the argument that things have gone to hell in a handbasket in the decades since Democrat Booth Gardner ousted incumbent Gov. John Spellman1 from the sweet suite in the capitol.
