The poker and blackjack players of Washington State are apparently staying home in droves during the pandemic. The Washington State Gambling Commission reports that the state’s 44 house-banked card rooms took a “staggering $77.6 million loss in activity,” from April through September, 65 percent less than the same period in 2019.
