If you’ve ever come by a complimentary bottle of wine at a vacation rental, you might have been unaware it was less than strictly legal — that is, until now. 

The passage of House Bill 1731 from Rep. Kevin Waters, R-Stevenson, this last session helped ensure travelers can keep popping bottles of the good stuff within the law. That bill hit the books late last month and lets short-term rental operators (think Airbnb hosts) gift one—and just one— bottle of wine per booking to guests ages 21 and up.
