House-of-origin cutoff looms

Tuesday marks the house-of-origin cutoff in the Legislature, the key deadline for House bills to clear the House and Senate bills to pass the Senate. Many proposals that folks care about deeply are likely to die on the floor calendars without a vote. Meanwhile, we’re looking at some things that have cleared the hurdle, some that stumbled, and some that are still in play.
