Republican Dave Reichert has been at pains to stiff-arm his anti-abortion voting record in Congress during his bid for the governor’s mansion. He has repeatedly tried to reassure Washington women that he has no plans to erode reproductive rights here.
That task, already tall, is likely to get tougher in the context of a $1 million TV push by a PAC called Evergreen Values, which gets nearly all of its money from the Democratic Governors Association.
